Professor Dr. med. Dr. med. dent. Bilal Al-Nawas is Chairman of the Department of Oral, Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery at the J. Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany. He has been Adjunctive Associate Professor at Kyung Hee University School of Dentistry, Seoul, Korea since 2009. Professor Al-Nawas’ major clinical and scientific focus in dental implantology is on clinical studies and basic research. His clinical field of work is compromised patients with risk factors or local bone deficiency, as well as tumor and cleft reconstructions. He has published over 200 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He sits on the ITI Board of Directors and the ITI Research Committee, is an ITI Fellow and ITI Education Delegate of the ITI Section Germany. He was twice awarded “Best Teacher at the Medical Faculty”. He is Past President of the International Federation of Dental Anesthesiology Societies (IFDAS) and Secretary General of the German Society of Implantology (DGI).
From 1994 to 1999, Prof. Dr. Florian Beuer studied at the Dental School of the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich, Germany, where he gained his license to practice (DDS) in 2000. From 2000 to 2001, he worked as an employed dentist in a private practice. In 2002, he became assistant professor in the Department of Prosthodontics of the Ludwig Maximilian University and made his Dissertation (Dr. med. dent.) in the same year. He became Specialist in Implantology (German Society for Implantology) in 2005. From 2007 to 2008, he worked as a Visiting Professor at the Pacific Dental Institute in Portland, Oregon (Director: John A. Sorensen DMD, PhD). His habilitation (Priv. Doz., PhD) was in 2009 at the LMU. From 2009 to 2015, he was the Vice President of the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ästhetische Zahnheilkunde (DGAEZ)". In 2010, he became an Expert in Prosthodontics after a further education at DGPro. Since 2011, Prof. Buer is a board member of the Team AG Ceramics. In the same year, he became the editor of the "Teamwork Journal of Continuing Dental Education". Since 2014, he was full Professor at Ludwig Maximilians University until 2015, when he became the Chairman of the Department of Prosthodontics at the Charité University of Medicine Berlin. He is also a Board Member of the German Society for Implantology (DGI).He gained his Master of Medical Education MME (University of Heidelberg) in 2015.

Dr. Caroline Gommel denkt, plant und schreibt als PR-Vollprofi aus Leidenschaft. Sie ist Spezialistin und Allrounderin zugleich. Sie interessiert sich für fast alles und vereint dabei so unterschiedliche Themen wie High-Tech und klassische Moderne, Drehmoment und Violinschlüssel, Finanzmarktdaten und Dentale Volumentomographie. Studiert hat sie Literatur, Musikwissenschaft und Geschichte. Promoviert hat sie über eine Oper von Paul Hindemith und zeitgleich ihren Weg in die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit eingeschlagen. Über unterschiedliche Stationen in den PR-Abteilungen bekannter Verlage wechselte sie in die Unternehmenskommunikation eines Medien- und Nachrichtenkonzerns. Dort konnte sie nicht nur ihr PR-Handwerk verfeinern, sondern auch ihren Horizont auf das Medienbusiness und die Finanzbranche wesentlich erweitern. Außerdem lernte sie während der Arbeit für die Nachrichtenagentur beide Seiten der Kommunikation kennen: ihren eigenen Schreibtisch und den News-Desk ihrer Journalistenkollegen. Von der Welt der Daten und Zahlen wechselte sie in die Medizintechnik und übernahm für einen Dentalkonzern mehrere Jahre lang das PR- und Medienmanagement. Gegründet hat sie die Agentur dokolea aus Spaß am Wort, aus Neugier auf die Menschen, die Unternehmen und ihre spannenden Geschichten.
Über sich sagt sie: „Eigentlich wollte ich Sängerin werden, aber dann habe ich festgestellt, dass ich noch besser schreiben als singen kann. Heute denke ich, ich habe den schönsten Beruf der Welt, besonders dann, wenn mir das Texten so leicht von der Hand geht, dass ich dabei singen kann.“

Since 2003, head of the Department of Implantology and Special Prosthodontics, Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Humboldt University. 2010 - 2017 head of the Implantology Section, Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University Hospital Freiburg. In 2017, appointed to the W3 professorship in Translational Implantology, University Hospital Freiburg.
Andreas Nolte completed his training as a dental technician in Lübbecke, Germany, and subsequently worked in various laboratories. After traveling domestically and abroad in 2001 and 2002, he founded his own company, Enamelum et Dentinum, in Münster, Germany, in 2002. Since 2004, he has been operating his own laboratory and training center in the heart of Münster. His passion is primarily focused on ceramic restorations on natural teeth and implants. He collaborates closely with the dental industry as a developer, which has led to the creation of, among other things, the Color and Texture System DD Contrast. Andreas Nolte is the author of several articles published in Quintessenz Zahntechnik, Teamwork, Dental Labor, and Dental Dialogue. In addition, he has been active as an international speaker since 2000. He is a member of the advisory board for Quintessenz Zahntechnik and Dental Dialogue. Furthermore, he has been a member of Group 65 for several years.
After my training in the laboratory Snay 1992, I search my path in dental technology. This I found 1996 Michael Heinz Polz and Stefan Schunke. After several years of training in the fields of aesthetics, function and milling in 2002 I did my master examination as an external at the Masters School in Nuremberg. Since 2009 I am a member of the Master Examination Committee Nuremberg. Since 2010 self-employed with my own laboratory in Fürth Germany. Since 2015 member of the oral design foundation.
Frank Schwarz is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Oral Surgery and Implantology at the Centre for Dentistry and Oral Medicine (Carolinum), Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt, Germany. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Clinical Periodontology and Editorial Board Member for Periodontology 2000, Clinical Oral Implants Research and Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the European Association for Osseointegration – EAO, Executive Board Member of the Osteology Foundation, and Past President of the German Association of Oral Implantology (DGI). He was awarded the André Schröder Research Prize in 2007, the Miller Research Prize in 2012 and the Jan Lindhe Award in 2017.
Paul Sipos works as a periodontist and implant dentist at the Center for Implantology and Periodontology, Amstelveen, The Netherlands. His dental office maintains a SPSS database with over 17,000 implant treatments. He started his career as a dentist and periodontist for the Royal Netherlands Navy Dental Services and received periodontal training at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, and the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). Paul Sipos has held the positions of chairman of the Dutch Society of Periodontology (NVvP), has published and co-authored several articles on periodontal- and implant-related subjects, and lectures at international conferences. His special interest lies in the field of microsurgery, hard and soft tissue maintenance, and prosthetic reconstruction.
Michael Stimmelmayr became a research assistant at Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich upon graduation in dentistry from the University of Regensburg. He obtained his doctoral degree in 1992 and his specialization as oral surgeon in 1997, serving as assistant medical director at the Chair for Prosthodontics. In 2000 he opened his own practice in Cham, with a professional focus on oral implantology and specialization in periodontology.
