unser Kieferorthopädie Symposion in Berlin hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren als eine der beliebtesten Fortbildungsveranstaltungen etabliert. Es steht seit jeher für fachlichen Tiefgang, kollegialen Austausch und eine besondere Atmosphäre – das verdanken wir nicht zuletzt der hervorragenden wissenschaftlichen Begleitung in den vergangenen Jahren, für die wir sehr dankbar sind.
Diesen Weg setzen wir 2026 mit Freude fort – und mit einer neuen wissenschaftlichen Leitung, die frische Impulse setzt und unser Symposium mit viel Erfahrung und Weitblick begleitet. Wir sind überzeugt: Die neue Handschrift wird das Symposion bereichern und zugleich die erfolgreiche Tradition weiterführen.

Dr. Jens J. Bock is an orthodontist in joint practice with his wife in Fulda, Germany. He is the author and co-editor of several textbooks in the field of diagnostics and clinical orthodontics. Dr. Bock is co-editor of Kieferorthopädie and has published widely nationally and internationally in the field of modern imaging and digital procedures.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Filippi is a specialist in Oral Surgery. He is the Clinical Director of the Department of Oral Surgery, University Center for Dental Medicine Basel UZB, Switzerland. Since 2006, he has been Founder and Head of the Center of Dental Traumatology Basel, and since 2016, Founder and Head of the Center of Salivary Diagnostics, Hyposalivation and Halitosis Basel.
Ama Johal is a Professor/Consultant Orthodontist, Academic Lead for Orthodontics at Bart's and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary College, University London [QMUL]. He qualified in dentistry at Sheffield University in 1989, with Honours and completed the Membership in Orthodontics (Royal College Surgeons England) and Masters Degree in Orthodontics at QMUL, graduating with distinction in 1996.
He has completed a PhD in the use of mandibular advancement splints in sleep-related breathing disorders. Ama is past Vice-President of the British Society Dental Sleep Medicine, a full member of the Angle Society of Europe and appointed a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.
Both his clinical and research work has been rewarded with numerous National and International prizes and grants, including the Turpin Award [2021] from the AAO for Evidence-based Research and the Chapman Award [2022] for best published research from BOS and 2024 B.F. and Helen E. Dewel Award for best Clinical Research publication AJODFO. He is an invited lecturer, both nationally and internationally, with over 100 publications in peer-reviewed International journals and several book chapters. His research interests include the impact of quality of life in orthodontics and the management of patients with sleep-related breathing disorders. His specialist interests include multidisciplinary care of patients with orthodontic-restorative needs.
He is a regular invited keynote speaker, both nationally and internationally, at numerous conferences around the world.
Simon Littlewood is Lead Consultant in the Orthodontic Department of Bradford Hospitals NHS Trust and a Registered Specialist in Orthodontics (GDC number 66963). He has been working as a full-time orthodontist since 1995 and is a highly experienced clinician treating a full range of orthodontic treatments, from simple alignment of teeth to complex cases. His experience and ability allows him to offer a full range of treatment options to patients, ensuring you get the treatment that best suits you. He takes a caring and personal approach to all his patients.
Simon is currently Chair of Examiners for the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of England and Course Director of the Yorkshire Orthodontic Therapy Course. He is honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Leeds and he has published several academic articles and textbook chapters, and is co-author of the best-selling textbook “An Introduction to Orthodontics”. He is regularly invited to give lectures and presentations worldwide. He brings all this expertise to his patients to provide a high quality of clinical care.
Ralf J. Radlanski is Director of the Department of Craniofacial Developmental Biology at Charité, the Center for Dental and Craniofacial Sciences. As an anatomist, an internationally esteemed scientist, and as a practicing orthodontist, he works at the interface between biology-anatomy on the one hand and esthetic clinical requirements on the other, a crucial area of interaction in many clinical disciplines.
