30. Jan 2026 — 31. Jan 2026
This course will highlight the extensively published studies and 5 years follow up using the VST protocol with a special emphasis on the long term follow up data. The VST protocol offers shortened treatment time, reduces the number of surgical interventions to only one, preserve the original socket orifice topography with minimal or no mid facial post restorative recession, and allows the total socket rehabilitation.
The vestibular socket therapy is a unique minimally invasive intervention, that allows the placement of immediate implants in compromised sockets presented with or without active infective signs. The presentation will also highlight hopeless root removal protocol that allows the removal of subgingivally located roots without any risk of any marginal soft tissue laceration nor socket osseous housing expansion. The vestibular socket preservation technique presents a new vision of socket preservation eliminating the previous known pitfalls of the conventional method.
In this unique course you will get the opportunity to try specially fabricated training VST models and newly designed VST instruments kit. You learn how to place immediate implants via CAD/CAM on the training model and watch the unique VST animations that facilitate the complete understanding of the concept.
Workshop practice:
• use the VST approach to treat defective labial plate of bone
• 3-dimensional placement of immediate implant in the esthetic zone
• experience using the dual guide to perform vestibular root removal technique
• stabilize the bone shield to regenerate the lost labial plate of bone
• chair-side fabrication of customized healing during the VST surgery
• repair palatal bone socket defect by using the palatal access incision and bone shield placement.
• fabricate immediate provisional restoration immediately in non-functional immediate loading cases
• apply the 6 days protocol to treat infected sockets immediately
• use alloderm or novomatrix to treat thin-walled socket soft tissues
• treat healed defects of alveolar bone ridge with VTT (Vestibular Tunnelling Therapy) with palatal access shield stabilization
