Prof Urs Belser graduated from the Dental Institute at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. He received postgraduate specialty training in reconstructive dental medicine (board-certified specialist) at the University of Zurich and was an Assistant Professor and then Senior Lecturer in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and Dental Materials there (Prof Dr Peter Schärer, MS) from 1976 to 1980. He was also a Visiting Assistant Professor from 1980 to 1982 in the Departments of Oral Biology (Prof Dr A.G. Hannam) and Clinical Dental Sciences (Prof Dr W. A. Richter) in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia in Canada. Between 1983 and 2012, Prof Belser acted as the Professor and Head of the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and Occlusion at the University of Geneva School of Dental Medicine, serving as the president of the Swiss Association of Reconstructive Dentistry from 1984 to 1988. He was the recipient of the Scientific Research Award of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics in 2002, President of the European Association of Prosthodontics (EPA) from 2002 to 2003, and Visiting Professor at Harvard University in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences (Prof Dr H. P. Weber) in 2006. Since 2012 he has been Guest Professor in the Department of Oral Surgery (Prof Dr D. Buser) and Department of Reconstructive Dentistry (Prof Dr Urs Braegger) at the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Bern. In 2013 he became an Honorary Fellow of The International Team of Implantology (ITI). Between 2013 and 2017 he served as editor-in-chief of Forum Implantologicum (ITI), and in 2014 he became a lifetime honorary member of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) and received the Lecturer of the Year Award. In 2018 he was presented the Morton Amsterdam Interdisciplinary Teaching Award (together with Prof Dr D. Buser). Prof Belser’s research is focused on implant dentistry, with special emphasis on esthetics and the latest developments in the field of CAD/CAM technology and high-performance dental ceramics, as well as on adhesive reconstructive dental medicine.

Nitzan Bichacho, D.M.D. holds the post of expert in prosthodontics at the rank of Professor, at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Hebrew University and Hadassah, Jerusalem, Israel, where he graduated in 1984. Prof. Bichacho is Past President and a Life Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) and serves on the editorial boards of leading international dental journals. He developed restorative and prosthetic clinical techniques that have become widely used around the world. Prof. Bichacho publishes and lectures worldwide on dental implant therapy, fixed prosthodontics, interdisciplinary treatments and innovative treatment modalities in esthetic dentistry. The Bichacho Clinic in Tel Aviv focuses on high-end esthetic oriented interdisciplinary treatments, collaborating with world renowned colleagues and dental technicians.

Markus B. Blatz, DMD, PhD, Dr med dent habil, is a professor of restorative dentistry, the chairman of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, and the Assistant Dean for Digital Innovation and Professional Development at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, where he founded the Penn Dental Medicine CAD/CAM Ceramic Center. He is an associate editor of Quintessence International and a coauthor of the international bestseller Evolution: Contemporary Protocols for Anterior Single-Tooth Implants (Quintessence Publishing, 2014). Dr Blatz is the recipient of multiple awards and has lectured extensively on dental esthetics, restorative materials, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Nuno Sousa Dias, DDS, MOrth, received his degree in Dentistry from Universidade Fernando Pessoa (Porto) in 2007. In the same year, he created and registered a Smile's Analysis named SAEF^® - Smile's Aesthetic Evaluation Form^®. From 2008 to 2012, he completed the full-time Orthodontic Postgraduate Program at Tel Aviv University (ISRAEL). In 2010, he was awarded the 1st prize at the 4th Scientific Research International Competition of the Spring Meeting of the EAED (European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry) in London (UK). He was elected ambassador for EPSOS (European Postgraduate Students Orthodontic Society) for Portugal and Israel in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, he was awarded by SEDO (Sociedad Española de Ortodoncia) with a fund to attend the AGE (Advanced Graduate Education) Didactic Courses at the Department of Orthodontics of HSDM (Harvard School of Dental Medicine). He is a member of several national and international dental and orthodontic scientific organizations. Since 2013, he has been practicing limited orthodontics at his own private clinic NSD-DENTISTRY in Portugal. He also collaborates with multidisciplinary teams in Belgium, Germany, and Istanbul. Additionally, he is an international lecturer in the field of Orthodontics and Smile's esthetics.

Dr. Gierthmühlen, graduated and received her DDS from Albert-Ludwigs University, Freiburg, Germany in 2001. She was an Assistant Professor (2001-2006) at the Department of Prosthodontics (Chair Prof. Dr Dr. h.c. J.R. Strub), University, Freiburg, Germany and is a Board certified Prosthodontist (2005) of the German Society of Prosthodontics and Dental Materials (DGPro). From 2006-2009 she was a Visiting Scientist at the Department of Biomaterials & Biomimetics (Chair Prof. Dr. V.P. Thompson), NYU, New York, USA. In 2009 Dr. Guess was appointed Associate Professor at the Department of Prosthodontics, University, Freiburg, where she accomplished the Habilitation in 2011. Since 2016 she is Professor and Chair of the Department of Prosthodontics at the Heinrich-Heine University in Duesseldorf, Germany.

Dr. Gonzalez-Martin received the DDS degree from University of Seville in 1999 and was appointed as an assistant professor at the same university from 1999 to 2005, while also working in a private practice. In 2005, he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA) to obtain an MS degree in Graduate Periodontics and Periodontal-Prosthesis in 2009 from University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). He received the Arnold Weisgold’s Director’s Award. He joined the UPenn faculty as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in 2009 and he currently keeps the position. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics in 2009. In 2010, he received a scholarship to join to the Fixed Prosthodontic and Occlusion Department at the University of Geneva School of Dental Medicine. In 2015, he obtained an International PhD at the University of Seville. Currently, he serves as Editor-in-Chief for The International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry. At present, he teaches in the graduate program of Periodontology at University Complutense of Madrid, Part-time in Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences Harvard School of Dental Medicine while continuing work at a private practice, Atelier Dental Madrid, exclusive to periodontics, prosthesis, and implants.

Dr. Gracis was trained in the United States where he obtained first a D.M.D. degree at the University of Pennsylvania, and, then, the certificate in Prosthodontics with an M.S.D. degree at the University of Washington. In 1990, he returned to Milan and has been working ever since in private practice limiting his activity to prosthodontics and restorative dentistry. He belongs as active member to the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry for which he was president in the years 2007–2008 and to the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry for which he was president for the 2016–2018 term. He is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and of the International Journal of Prosthodontics.

Ueli Grunder, DMD, is a past president of the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology and the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He has published numerous papers and the book Implants in the Esthetic Zone (Quintessence, 2015), which has been translated into 11 languages. He lectures extensively nationally and internationally on the surgical and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry. Dr Grunder maintains a group private practice in Zollikon-Zürich, Switzerland.

Dr. Arndt Happe graduated from dental school in 1994, having studied at Westfälische Wilhelms University, Münster. Following post-graduate studies with Professor Fouad Khoury and successful specialization in oral surgery, he obtained his doctoral degree in 1996. At that time he had already been active as a speaker and co-author of national and international publications in the field of oral implantology. Since 1999, Dr. Happe has worked as an oral surgeon in private practice in Münster, with a professional focus on both oral implantology (since 2000) and periodontology (since 2004). He taught in various postgraduate programs offered by the German Association of Oral Implantology (DGI), the European Association of Dental Implantologists (BDIZ EDI), the German Association of Esthetic Dentistry (DGÄZ) and the German Society for Periodontology (DGP), as well as in the “Periodontology and Implant Therapy” master program of the DGP in cooperation with Dresden International University. In addition, Dr. Happe is an external research assistant at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery, Oral Surgery and Implantology at the University of Cologne (Director: Professor Joachim E. Zöller). He is an affiliate of the prestigious European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).

Prof. Dr. Hürzeler is one of the world's leading specialists in complex implant treatments. Surgical methods developed by him are used with great success even in the most difficult cases. Founded a private practice for periodontology and implant therapy with Dr. Zuhr. 2002: Professor of Dentistry, Medical Faculty of the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg. 2008: Founded the Huerzeler/Zuhr Education Center. President of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). More than 150 scientific publications in the field of implantology, periodontology, and tissue regeneration. National and international speaker on periodontology and implant therapy. 2012: Publication with Dr. Zuhr of the bestselling book entitled Plastic-Esthetic Periodontal and Implant Surgery – A Microsurgical Approach.

Dr. France Lambert graduated from the University of Liege in Periodontology, where she continued to obtain a PhD in the same subject. She has also completed a fellowship program in oral implantology at the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine as well as the University of Washington. She is currently Head of Clinic in the Periodontology and Oral Surgery Departement at the University of Liege. Her clinical work is focused exclusively on implantology, mucogingival surgery and periodontics. Her scientific research areas target different aspects of the use of biomaterial and dental implants.

Nazariy Mykhaylyuk is a specialist in a field of microscopic dentistry (mostly indirect restorative dentistry). Works in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine in family clinic in a team with his father and dental technician Bohdan Mykhaylyuk (Oral Design Ukraine). 2008 he qualified as a dentist in Ivano-Frankivsk Medical University. 2010 Created Mykhaylyuk Study Center and started organising courses for dentists on topic "Tooth preparation with microscope for full crowns". Organised about 80 courses in Mykhaylyuk Study center for about 700 dentists. Was lecturing about 70 times in Ukraine and worldwide. Started organising new courses on topics – "Photo and video documentation in dentistry. Microscopic approach", "Total rehabilitation from A to Z", "Indirect restoration – from macro to micro. MicroVision approach"; Developed his personal kit for teeth preparation for full crowns (Komet); 2013 developed hand instrument for finishing preparations (enamel chisels – Deppeler); developed MicroVision preparation kit for veneers and onlays (Komet).; posted in Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry AACD Winter Edition. Became a DentalXP expert. Doing more and more international hands-on courses and lectures about microscopic dentistry worldwide. Co-founder of MicroVision group. 2018 He opened a clinic in Kyiv.

Dr. José Manuel Navarro received a Certificate in Periodontology and Implant dentistry after completing a 3-year program at New York University College of Dentistry (Chairman Dennis Tarnow). He was also awarded a Master of Science degree in Biomaterials from NYUCD for his research on high strength ceramics (Chairman Van Thompson). Dr. Navarro has received awards for his research from different societies, including the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) best presentation award in 2007 and the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) Research Award in 2011. He has co- authored several peer- reviewed publications and book chapters and is Co-Editor of the book “High Strength Ceramics”. Dr. Navarro is on the editorial board of the European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry (EJED) the International Journal of Oral Implantology (IJOI) and is editor in Chief of Quintessence International in Spanish. He is past chairman of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) Junior Committee and is visiting faculty at different universities. He currently maintains a private practice focused on periodontics, prosthodontics and implant dentistry in Spain and London.

Since 2014, Dr Paolone is a Research Professor in Restorative Dentistry, Università Vita Salute San Raffaele, Milan. He has a PhD in Dental Biomaterials (Portsmouth University, UK). He is an associate member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and an active member of AIC. Dr Paolone served on the board of AIC (as Secretary) in 2018–2019, and on its the scientific committee (2020–2022). He has his own private practice in Rome. He is a Lecturer on the Master in Esthetics and Restorative Dentistry, University of Bologna, Italy and on the Diploma in Esthetic Dentistry at Montpellier University, France. He is the author of the book "Restauri diretti nei settori posteriori" (Direct Posterior Composite Restorations) published in 2018, which has been translated into English, German, and Chinese. He is the author of the book "Restauri diretti nei settori anteriori" (Direct Anterior Restorations), published in 2020. He is also the author and co-author of several publications in international scientific journals and contributions in several textbooks. He has lectured on national and international courses and congresses.

Dr. Stavros Pelekanos received his undergraduate degree in Dentistry (D.D.S.) from the University of Athens, Greece. In 1993, he obtained his doctoral degree in Prosthodontics (DMD) from the University of Freiburg (Prof Dr. J.R. Strub), Germany. Following his professional training, Dr. Pelekanos established a private practice in Athens, oriented towards prosthodontics, implantology and esthetic dentistry. In 2002, he was appointed full-time Lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics, Dental School, University of Athens, Greece, and in 2012 Assistant Professor in the same department. Since 2013, he is an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). His professional affiliations include The International College of Prosthodontics (ICP), European Prosthodontic Association (EPA), Greek Prosthodontic Association and many others. He is a faculty member of gIDE Institute (Global Institute of Dental Education), Los Angeles, California and Dental Tribune (CME courses) lecturing internationally and performing hands on courses on implants, esthetics and restorative procedures. In 2008 and 2011, Dr. Pelekanos received second and first prize at the scientific award competition of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry held in Madrid, Spain and Istanbul, Turkey respectively. To date he has published over twenty articles in peer reviewed journals and three chapters in books.

Dr. Andrea Ricci graduates from University of Perugia in 1996. In 1999, after a three years training program he achieved the Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In the same university he had didactic activity. Since 1999 he limits his practice to Prosthodontics, Periodontology and Implant Dentistry with special emphasis to the aesthetic and functional rehabilitations. He is an Active Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), Associate Member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry (AARD), Active Member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED). He is member to several committees in the Academy where he belongs. Co-author of several papers published in international journals. He is founder and Scientific Director of IDEAT (Institute of Dental Education and Therapy), a teaching institute that organizes on-site and on-line training courses for dentists. Since 2004 He has lectured extensively in Europe, United States, China, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, United Arab Emirates and in Japan. Since 2005 he has run courses for dentists and technicians in his office and around the world. On January 2018, after 5 years of training, he became a Coach of the Roberto Re Leadership School, the biggest personal growth organization in Europe. On December 2019 he was voted “best coach of the year”.

Giano Ricci graduated with a degree in medicine and specialized in dentistry at the University of Florence. In 1974, he obtained his Master’s of Science in Periodontology from Boston University. He is an author of numerous publications in the periodontal field and author of Diagnosis and Periodontal Therapy (Quintessence Publishing, 2014). He is an active member of the EFP; honorary member of the AIOP; cofounder, past president and active member of SIdP and cofounder and immediate past president of the EAED. He has delivered lectures, practical demonstrations and continuing education courses in periodontology, implantology and esthetic dentistry in Europe, the United States, and Japan.

Giuseppe Romeo, MDT-CDT, is a distinguished Dental Technician who operates his own practice in Torino, Italy. His educational journey in the field began with earning a degree in the 5th year of Dental Technician training, followed by two years of university study, culminating in a Master's Degree in Dental Technologist Esthetic Prosthodontics. Romeo has expanded his expertise through continuing education, both in Italy and internationally, with work experiences in the United States and Switzerland. As a speaker both domestically and abroad, he continues to participate in update courses to enhance his skills and knowledge. Romeo has contributed to the dental community as the author of 40 articles published in prestigious Italian and international dentistry magazines. He collaborated with Doctor Domenico Massironi and Mister Romeo Pascetta on the book “Esthetics and Precision. Clinical and technical procedures.”, which was published by Quintessence and translated into eight languages. Additionally, he is a coauthor of “Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry”, a work created alongside Dr. Douglas Terry and Mr. Willi Geller and published by Quintessence. Romeo is an active member of Willi Geller’s Oral Design group, a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED), a Member of the American Microscope Enhanced Dentistry (AMED), and an Affiliate Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). His commitment to academia is evident in his role as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Restorative Science at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Irena Sailer, Prof Dr med dent, is chair of the Division of Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University of Geneva and adjunct associate professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. In 2019, she received an Honorary Skou Professorship of digital dental technologies, fixed and implant prosthodontics, and biomaterials at Aarhus University, Denmark. Dr Sailer is editor-in-chief of The International Journal of Prosthodontics and coauthor of over 150 peer-reviewed publications as well as the books Fixed Restorations: A Clinical Guide to the Selection of Materials and Fabrication Technology (Quintessence, 2021) and Color in Dentistry (2017). She holds several patents on esthetic coatings of dental/medical devices and a digital dental splint.

Dr. Zhang is a Professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at Penn Dental Medicine. He received his B.S. in Physics from Shanghai Normal University in 1986 and his M.S. in Physics from La Trobe University, Victoria, Australia in 1997. He went on to earn his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Monash University, Victoria, Australia in 2002. Dr. Zhang completed his first Research Fellowship in Materials Science and Engineering at Monash University in 2002. For his second research fellowship, which was completed in 2005, Dr. Zhang worked on a joint project among New York University College of Dentistry, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the American Dental Association Foundation. Prior to joining Penn Dental Medicine, Dr. Zhang was on the faculty at New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Biomaterials and Biomimetics. During his time at NYU, he was recognized for his commitment to excellence in research and teaching, receiving The Kathleen C. Kinnally Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement in 2018 and the Outstanding Teaching Award, given by the Faculty Council, in 2015. Dr. Zhang’s main research interests are: (1) Developing functionally graded and nanostructured materials for dental and biomedical devices; (2) Elucidating competing damage modes in all-ceramic restorations under mastication; (3) Characterizing the wear and fatigue behavior of dental materials; and (4) Improving the fracture resistance of veneered prostheses through the reduction of deleterious residual tensile stresses.

Graduated in 1988 with a degree in dentistry from the University of Bologna, Italy. He was awarded a PhD in medical biotechnology from the same university. Author of more than 130 scientific publications in the field of periodontics and implantology. Winner of various awards in Europe and the United States for scientific research in the field of periodontology. Co-author of two illustrated textbooks on periodontal plastic surgery (Ed. Martina) and of the chapter “Mucogingival Therapy—Periodontal Plastic Surgery” in Clinical Periodontology and Implant Dentistry (Lindhe J, Lang NP, Karring T [eds]; Wiley-Blackwell). Author of the book Mucogingival Esthetic Surgery, published by Quintessence Publishing and translated into 12 languages. Speaker at major Italian and international conferences on the topics of periodontics and implantology.
