The Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP) aims to promote oral and dental health, with special regard to the preservation of function and prosthetic restoration, where necessary, and of functions and aesthetics of the stomatognathic apparatus.

The Academy is actively involved in the advanced training and continuous updating of all professionals involved in prosthetic therapy at clinical and technical level. 

The Academy is committed to promote scientific research related to prosthetic dentistry. It encourages ideals of clinical perfection in the professional practice of prosthetics as well as ideals of professional excellence and ethics for its members. 

AIOP is engaged to promote scientific and human communication among professionals and to spread the concepts of oral health, ethics and excellence that are already part of the institutions and of the civil community.
