During a routine 3-month postoperative visit, a radiograph suggested vertical bone loss on the implant in the location of the mandibular right first molar. The three-walled defect was surgically treated with debridement, bone allograft, and a membrane. Healing of this site has been uneventful. This case report demonstrates that implants can be successfully placed and restored in previously affected GOC sites.
