However, severely misplaced implants cannot be restored. To correct the misplacement of implants, surgical repositioning or removal of the implants is necessary. In this study, a clinical case requiring surgical repositioning of an unrestorable implant using a trephine bur is presented. This technique focuses on minimizing damage to the osseointegration and surrounding tissues of the implant.
