Institute Subscription
- Print issue: Delivery of the printed issue on request (print subscription or e-paper subscription).
- Online access: Access via login (email+password). The login cannot be passed on to third parties.
- Concurrent online users: Only one concurrent/simultaneous user is allowed.
- We do not require or support the SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) standard.
- Multiple locations: Access is restricted to the location of the institute, e.g. the library.
- Registration: Online use requires a one-time registration on our platform by providing your name, email address, and customer number:

- IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are possible.
- Proxy servers are allowed. - Concurrent online users: No limit.
- Multiple sites: No limit.
- Registration: Registration is not necessary. IP-based access is set up by Quintessence.
General Information
- All journals can be found online at:
http://www.quintessence-publishing.com/deu/de/journals - The content of the print version and the online version is identical, and the two versions appear simultaneously.
- All full texts of the journal articles are provided in PDF format. The use of any PDF reader, e.g. Adobe Reader (https://get.adobe.com/de/reader/) is therefore required.
- The platform does not follow the “Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT)” standard. However, Quintessence plans to make many areas of the website accessible in accordance with WCAG from July 2025.
- The full-text articles of the paid journals are freely accessible only to subscribers.
Contents of the open access journals are freely accessible without registration. - All prices communicated include the respective sales tax.
- Subscriptions are automatically renewed unless otherwise agreed. No new registration is required.
- During the term of a subscription or site license, the current content and the entire available archive of all volumes can be read.
- After the subscription or site license has expired, there is no longer any access to the content, not even to those volumes that were accessible during the active subscription or site license period.
- The online content is not offered on data carriers such as CD-ROM. Offline use is not possible.
- Interlibrary loan is not part of subscriptions or Site Licenses and is therefore not permitted.

- We will be happy to send you usage statistics. The statistics correspond to “COUNTER JR1”. Please send your request by e-mail.
We do not offer the SUSHI protocol for retrieving COUNTER statistics. Apart from JR1, the platform is not COUNTER-compatible.
