The aim of this report is to highlight the potential of high-frequency ultrasonography (HFUS) as a diagnostic and interventional tool in fixed prosthodontics. HFUS enables a minimally invasive evaluation of the buccal, palatal, or lingual aspects, providing both transverse and horizontal sections of teeth and/or implants sites. By applying a conductive gel, bone, soft tissues, roots, implants, abutments, and crowns profiles can be effectively visualized. This approach might reduce the reliance on ionizing radiation while enhancing diagnostic accuracy and procedural predictability. High-frequency ultrasound (HFUS) demonstrates significant potential to advance clinical research and expand prosthodontic applications by providing a safe, non-invasive, and user-friendly imaging modality.
