The authors present a case of a 16-year-old patient with JIA, mandibular retrognathia and transverse maxillary hypoplasia, which was corrected with a combined orthodontical-surgical treatment. The occurrence, impact of dentofacial disturbances in JIA, and the literature are discussed.
