Hendrik Eggers ist Physiotherapeut (B. Sc.) in Lüneburg. Seit Längerem widmet er sich intensiv dem Flossing und seinen praktischen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten.

Hanan Elgendy, BDS, MS, is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry, Operative Dentistry Division at East Carolina University (ECU) School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina, where she is the director of the Dental Anatomy, Dental Photography, and Advanced Esthetic Operative courses. Dr Elgendy earned her BDS from Ain Shams University in Egypt and was in private practice for 5 years before moving to the United States in 2012. She completed a master’s degree in operative dentistry at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2016 and was a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry there until joining ECU in 2019. Her major interest is enhancing student learning in dental anatomy, dental photography, CAD/CAM, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr Elgendy has dedicated her career to teaching restorative dentistry, and she takes pride in knowing how much her students love learning how to draw teeth.

Theodore Eliades graduated from the School of Dentistry, University of Athens, Greece, and completed the Orthodontic postgraduate program of the Ohio State University, USA, where he also earned a Master of Science degree. He obtained a Doctorate in Medical Sciences from the University of Athens, School of Medicine, and a PhD in Biomaterials from the University of Manchester, UK. He was Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, from 2005 until 2011, when he assumed the post of Professor and Director of the Clinic of Orthodontics Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Since 1996 he has maintained a private practice in Athens, Greece.

Dr. Eliav is a professor and the Director of the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, Vice President for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center and the Vice Dean for Oral Health within its School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Eliav earned his Dental Degree (1991), MSc (1995) and PhD (2004) from the Hebrew University and Hadassah in Jerusalem. He specialized in Oral Medicine at the Hebrew University, Hadassah Jerusalem, Israel (1991-1995) and trained in Clinical and Basic Science Research Program in the National Institute of Health Bethesda, Maryland, USA (1995-1997). Since 2008 he is the Editor in Chief of Quintessence International and since 2018 an associate Editor of the Journal of Oral & Facial Pain and Headache.

Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Elzer war Studiengangsleiter des Bachelor- und Masterstudiengangs Physiotherapie der Universität Marburg und Hochschule Fulda, wo er von 1994 bis 2017 die Professor für "Sozialpsychiatrie, Psychotherapie, Beratung" bekleidete. Das Thema Kommunikation ist ein wichtiges Thema seiner Lehre, Forschung und zahlreicher Publikationen. Fundierte theoretische Kenntnisse, kritische Reflexion und Praxisbezug waren und sind ihm ein zentrales Anliegen.
 

Anja Engler studierte von 1990 bis 1997 Biologie an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität in Düsseldorf und beendete das Studium mit dem Diplom-Abschluss. Seit 1997 ist sie in der Lehre tätig und bildet an einer privaten Berufsfachschule u. a. Physiotherapeuten, Masseure und Ergotherapeuten aus. Während ihrer Lehrtätigkeit studierte sie berufsbegleitend von 2008 bis 2012 Erwachsenenbildung an der Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern und beendete ihr Studium mit dem Master of Arts. Seit 2014 ist sie in leitender Position tätig und wirkt u.a. am Aufbau und an der Entwicklung weiterer Fachbereiche mit.
