Dr. Bertrand Khayat received his DDS degree at the University of Paris. He obtained his Certificate in Endodontics and his Masters of Science at the University of Washington in 1988. A pioneer in the use of the microscope in Endodontics, he also designed several surgical instruments including ultrasonic tips for surgical retropreparation. In addition to his extensive experience and expertise in Endodontic Surgery, he lectures internationally while maintaining his private practice in Conventional and Surgical Endodontics in Paris.
Prof. Dr. Fouad Khoury received his dental education at the Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, and his specialization in Oral Surgery at the Universities of Freiburg and Münster, Germany. He was Assistant Professor at the University of Münster, where he completed his PhD and Scientific Habilitation degree. Since 1994, Prof. Khoury has been Full Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the University of Münster, and Director of the Privatzahnklinik Schloss Schellenstein, Olsberg, Germany. For many years, he has been a visiting professor at several universities, the Chairperson of the Examination Committee for Oral Surgery, and a member of the editorial board of many international journals. Prof. Khoury is currently Chairperson of the Oral and Jaw Surgery Society (AGOKI) of the German Association for Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine (DGZMK), and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Oral Implantology. He has received several awards (eg, the Pioneers in Dentistry award 2016 AUB, and the William R. Laney Award of the American Academy of Osseointegration 2017) and holds many patents. Prof. Khoury is the author and editor of four bestseller textbooks that have been translated into more than 10 languages.

David M. Kim, DDS, DMSc, is an associate professor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he also serves as division head of periodontology and director of the postgraduate program in periodontology and continuing education. Dr Kim is a past recipient of both Distinguished Junior and Senior Faculty awards from Harvard as well as the Balint Orban Research Award, the Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics, and a Teaching Fellowship from the American Academy of Periodontology. He has published 120 articles and 25 book chapters. Dr Kim is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and maintains a clinical practice in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Kim, a dedicated advocate for lifelong learning in dentistry, holds a B.A. in Biologic Sciences from the University of Chicago and a D.D.S. from the University of Washington. With over two decades of experience, she practices in Seattle and Fife, Washington, specializing in aesthetic smile rejuvenation through advanced composite dentistry. Dr. Kim is an active member of various study clubs, teaches extensively across North America, and has developed innovative dental tools and techniques. Her work, particularly in Injection Overmolded Composite Dentistry, has been widely recognized and published, including a cover article in Dentistry Today. Dr. Kim collaborates closely with other dental specialists to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
A gifted academician and clinician, Dr. Kinzer's interdisciplinary approach to dentistry is founded in empirical research and clinical experience. His unique ability to impart complex clinical processes in a logical, systematic and understandable way differentiates him from other dental educators of our time.
Committed to advancing the art and science of restorative dentistry, Dr. Kinzer continues to serve as an affiliate assistant professor in the graduate prosthodontic program at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He also taught with Dr. Frank Spear at the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education from 1998-2009 prior to joining Spear Resident Faculty.
In addition, Dr. Kinzer has written numerous articles and chapters for many dental publications and serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of Esthetics and Restorative Dentistry. He maintains a private practice in Seattle limited to comprehensive restorative and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Kinzer received his D.D.S. from the University of Washington in 1995 and an M.S.D. and certificate in prosthodontics in 1998.

Dr. Axel Kirsch has been active in research and clinical practice in oral implantology and peri-implant prosthodontics for more than 35 years. The IMZ implant system was in part based on his contributions. Since 1995 Kirsch and his team have developed, tested, and established the CAMLOG® implant system. His current clinical activities focus on hard- and soft-tissue management and safe implant/prosthodontic treatment concepts, while his scientific attention is directed to basic research in oral implantology. Ever since he began practicing in his own office in 1974, Kirsch has held presentations, taught practical courses, and published numerous clinical and scientific articles. Kirsch visited numerous universities as a guest professor.
Dubravka Knezović Zlatarić is Professor of Prosthodontics in the Department of Removable Prosthodontics and Head of Ellective Lectures „Basics of Esthetic Dentistry“ and „Digital clinical communication with the dental laboratory“ at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, Croatia, where she gained her clinical certificate in Prosthodontics and completed PhD. As a member of European Prosthetic Association she was awarded three times – for the best presented scientific study, poster presentation and for the young investigators in the fields of Prosthodontics. In 2007, she was the winner of the second place for outstanding poster presentation at the meeting of the International College of Prosthodontists in Fukuoka, Japan. She has been the principle investigator and project manager of several scientific projects financed by Ministry of science and University of Zagreb. Her research and clinical focus is on various esthetic dental treatments with emphasis on minimally invasive procedures restoring teeth to their natural appearance in different color management protocols.
