Considerations in Treatment Planning for Implant-Supported Auricular Prostheses

Improvements in planning for the provision of silicone auricular prostheses have been achieved with CT scanning. The analysis of information using a computer workstation has enabled preoperative determination of skull thickness and position of implants in relation to the proposed location of the prosthesis.
