Dr. Rechenberg is a senior lecturer at the Division of Endodontology, Clinic for Preventive Dentistry, Periodontology, and Cariology, University of Zurich, Switzerland. He graduated in Germany from the University of Göttingen, School of Dental Medicine. After finishing dental school he worked at the University of Göttingen, and then the University of Zurich, where he received his doctoral degree in dentistry (Dr. med. dent.). In 2012 Dan completed the postgraduate endodontic program at the Univeristy of Zurich, became a certified member of the Swiss Society of Endodontology (SSE), and the European Society of Endodontology (ESE). In 2017 he received the venia legendi (private docent title) from the University of Zurich. Dan is on the editorial board of the International Endodontic Journal and acts as a reviewer for other dental journals. Currently he works part-time at the University of Zurich as Co-Head of the postgraduate endodontic program and in research, where his main research focus is on diagnostics for pulpal and periapical disease. In addition, he maintains a private practice limited to endodontics/apical microsurgery in Zurich. Dan has served as an active member of the ESE Membership Committee since 2017 and has participated in the ESE accreditation process for postgraduate speciality training programmes.

Prior to this position, Dr. Revilla-León has been the assistant program director in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Texas A&M University in Dallas. Currently, Dr. Revilla is also Affiliate Faculty in the Graduate in Prosthodontic Program at the University of Washington in Seattle and in the Graduate in Prosthodontic Program at Tufts University in Boston.
Isabella Rocchietta, DDS, MSc, is an honorary senior research associate to the Department of Periodontology and a lecturer for the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London. She is an elected board member of the European Academy for Osseointegration and a member of the Experts Council of the Osteology Foundation. She is the author of several national and international peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Dr Rocchietta performs clinical work limited to periodontics and implant dentistry in London and Milan and lectures internationally.
PD Dr. med. dent. Nadja Rohr is head of the Biomaterials and Technology research group at the University Center for Dental Medicine Basel UZB, Switzerland and head of dental technicians. Giuseppe Romeo, MDT-CDT, is a distinguished Dental Technician who operates his own practice in Torino, Italy. Jeffrey S. Rouse, DDS, maintains a full-time private practice in San Antonio, Texas, and is a clinical adjunct associate professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. He is a member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the American College of Prosthodontists and past president of the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Mariano Sanz is professor and chair of periodontology at the University Complutense of Madrid (Spain) and a professor in the faculty of Odontology at the University of Oslo (Norway). He graduated in medicine in 1981 from the University Complutense of Madrid, from which he received a degree in stomatology in 1983 and where he qualified as a Doctor of Medicine in 1985. He received his speciality in periodontology from the Universtiy of Califormia in Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1987. He has received honorary doctorates from the University of San Sebastian in Santiago (Chile), the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) and the University of Coimbra (Portugal). Since 2005, Prof Sanz has been chair of the ETEP research group on the aetiology and therapy of periodontal diseases, whose main lines of research are oral microbiology, bacterial-host interactions, and antimicrobial approaches in the treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis. The research group has conducted clinical trials to measure the efficacy of different approaches to periodontal regeneration surgical protocols using dental implants, and therapeutic approaches to treat peri-implantitis. Prof Sanz has published 230 articles in scientific journals, written 50 book chapters, and has participated as an invited speaker at more than 200 scientific events in the last five years. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Clinical Periodontology and Evidence-Based Dental Practice and a member of the editorial boards of various other dental journals. He has been awarded the Jens Waerhaug Research Prize by the Scandinavian Society of Periodontology (1984), the Outstanding Service Award from the International Association for Dental Research (2015) and the IADR Straumann Award in Periodontal Regenerative Medicine (2015). Dr. Ignacio Sanz Martín is currently a PhD candidate at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, studying under Prof. Mariano Sanz since 2012. Yair Sharav, DMD, MS, is a professor in the Department of Oral Medicine at The Hebrew University-Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem. Dr Sharav is responsible for establishing the Orofacial Pain Clinic at Hadassah Medical Center in 1974—the first of its kind in Israel—and directing it as well as the Center for Pain Research at The Hebrew University for over 25 years. He has also served variously as a past dean of the School of Dental Medicine at The Hebrew University and a former head of the Department of Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine, and Radiology at Hadassah Medical Center. Internationally, he was a visiting professor at Toronto University and a visiting scientist at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr Sharav's work has contributed widely to the knowledge and understanding of the diagnosis, treatment, and mechanisms of orofacial pain.
Hagay is Chair of the Endodontics division at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA), Netherlands, and maintains a private practice specialising in Endodontics. Hagay's PhD thesis was titled "New insights into the root canal wall". Since 2000, he has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at ACTA.
