Twentythree implants were placed in 20 patients between 2000 and 2006. No implants were lost and no signs of significant bone resorption, loss of osseointegration, or soft tissue complications were reported. The results of this study indicate that this protocol may be a feasible alternative for the replacement of condemned molars.
