Accepted treatment options include the extrusion of the remaining root with a conventional orthodontic appliance, surgical crown lengthening of the root, or root extraction with prosthetic tooth replacement. After considering esthetics and function, orthodontic extrusion with magnets might also be a viable alternative. In this report, a simplified method of orthodontic extrusion with magnets is presented.
