Not one case of oral cavity leiomyoma has been reported in Poland. This article describes a case of leiomyoma of the oral cavity in a 51-year-old patient. To remove the tumor, a carbon dioxide laser was used. Because of the method used, perioperative bleeding was avoided, which enabled better visibility of the surgical area and minimized duration of the operation. The postoperative wound did not require sutures, and healing occurred without complications.
