Dental implants are an important treatment option for a variety of scenarios, including replacing a missing tooth or attaching a bridge. However, patients and are often unclear about what dental implants involve. This book has been created by the EAO to provide answers to the most commonly asked questions about dental implants. They were selected by looking at online search engine results to find out which questions the public ask about dental implants most often. Once the list of questions had been finalised, answers were prepared by members of the EAO's Board of Directors. They were then reviewed to make sure they were accurate and easy to understand. Dentists may use the book to explain different treatment options to patients.
