Dr. German Gallucci received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (Dr. Med. Dent.) from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He attended a postdoctoral training at the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and Occlusion, School of Dental Medicine, University of Geneva where he later became a full-time faculty at the same department. Dr Gallucci also received a Ph.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam. In 2007, he established a new Postgraduate Education Program in Oral Implantology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is currently department chair of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences, and also oversees the Harvard Dental Center as its executive director. Dr. Gallucci participates in lectures, seminars, practical courses and table clinics at national and international meetings and symposia. He has authored scientific publications in the field of Fixed Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry and his work has been mostly published in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Gallucci serves as an editorial board member for Journal of Dental Research (JDR), Clinical Oral Implants Research (COIR), and International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants (IJOMI). He is a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Switzerland, an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration and the European Academy of Osseointegration.

Mia L. Geisinger, DDS, MS, is a professor and director of Advanced Education in Periodontology in the Department of Periodontology in the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. She is a diplomate in the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow in the International Team for Implantology. She has served as the president of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation, the chair of the American Dental Association’s Council on Scientific Affairs, and on multiple national and regional organized dentistry committees. She currently serves as an AAP District III Trustee, as a Board member for the ADA’s Science and Research Institute, and on numerous AAP and ADA committees and task forces. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and lectures nationally and internationally on topics in periodontology and oral health care.
David Gerdolle was born in Epinal (France) in May 1970, and is gratuated from the Dental University of Nancy (1993). He has then achieved a number of Postgraduate Diplomas from the Universities of Paris and Gothenburg, in Oral and Osteo-articular Biology, Implantology, Prosthodontics and Adhesive Dentistry.
David has been member of the teaching staff of the University of Nancy between 1993 and 2005, and he is running a private practice in Vevey-Montreux since 2006. His practice is dedicated to conservative and minimal invasive dentistry. David is currently directing a Postgraduate Certificate at the University of Paris, and is also involved in research programs on resin composites in the University of Nancy.

Prof Shahram Ghanaati is a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery with a triple doctorate in medicine, dentistry, and science (MD, DMD, PhD) from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and Frankfurt. Today he leads the Head and Neck Oncology section at the University Cancer Center at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and is an associate professor in the Clinic of Oral, Cranio-Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery there. In 2009, he founded the FORM-Lab (Frankfurt Orofacial Regenerative Medicine), a research laboratory that performs basic science and clinical studies focusing on understanding the biomaterial-based regeneration process. In his research, Prof Ghanaati has participated in the development of over 10 biomaterials from the bench to the clinic. He has worked with Dr Joseph Choukroun, the inventor of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), to develop advanced preparation protocols, and in 2016 he and his team established the so-called LSCC (low-speed centrifugation concept) for PRF-derived blood concentrates. Furthermore, he has presented more than 150 lectures at national and international congresses and has given more than 200 courses and workshops on GTR and GBR in implantology as well as on regenerative concepts and blood concentrates. Prof Ghanaati has published more than 170 peer-reviewed publications in the field of regenerative and reconstructive medicine and is a Fellow of the European Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
William Giannobile, DDS, MS, DMSc, is dean of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a professor in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity. He has produced over 300 manuscripts, textbook chapters, and patents focused on periodontology, regenerative medicine, and oral health research and is coeditor of nine books focused on clinical, translational research, periodontology, and regenerative medicine. He is a consultant to the US Food and Drug Administration for dental devices and has received numerous awards, including the American Dental Association Norton Ross Award for Excellence in Clinical Research. In addition to his administrative and teaching responsibilities, he practices periodontics and implant dentistry at the Harvard Dental Center.

Alfonso Gil is receiving a 5-year post-graduate education in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Dental Material Sciences from the University of Zurich. He obtained his DDS Degree from the University of the Basque Country (2013). His Master of Science and Advanced Periodontology Implantology Certificate from the University of Southern California (USC) (2013-2016) were followed by a Certificate in Advanced Surgical Implant Dentistry from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) (2016-2017). He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He obtained his PhD with highest honors from the University International of Catalunya in November 2019. His research focuses on the treatment of peri-implant disease, soft tissue augmentation of teeth and implants and fixed prosthodontics.
Dr Giordani has specialized in maxillofacial and periodontal surgery, and implantology. After graduating from the Universidade Paulista (UNIP), São Paulo, Brazil, he took a fellowship in Belgium, on “Implants and Periodontal Plastic Surgery” with Dr Eric Van Dooren, collaborating with him to the present day. Dr Giordani is treating cases in an interdisciplinary fashion, working with specialists all over the world. He lectures internationally on soft tissue management, periodontology, and implantology in prosthetic treatments. His main focus is treatment for gummy smile, esthetic crown lengthening, root coverage, gingival grafts, and immediate implants. He works closely with the Dentcof team and Ateliê Oral, one of the most successful dental clinics in São Paolo.
Sotiria Gizani received her degree in Dentistry from AUTH and then completed her postgraduate studies in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Care for Special Needs at the Catholic University Leuven (KU Leuven, Belgium), including a "Master in Dental Sciences" and her PhD. After completing her studies (1998), she returned to Greece and has since been working at the Pediatric Dentistry Laboratory of the Dental School at EKPA, initially as a Lecturer and later as an Assistant Professor. Today, she is an Associate Professor and Director of the Laboratory, as well as responsible for the postgraduate program, which is one of the seven certified pediatric dentistry programs in Europe. In 2018, she was elected Secretary of the European Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (EAPD) with a six-year term. She is also a visiting professor at the Catholic University Leuven (Belgium) and an external examiner for the postgraduate pediatric dentistry program at the University of Liverpool (England). She has given numerous presentations nationally and internationally and has published over 60 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Additionally, she has received international awards and honors from the IAPD, EAPD, as well as the Koulouridis Scholarship twice. Her research interests mainly focus on clinical studies related to the prevention and management of caries in children, dental treatment of individuals with special needs, and communication and behavior management of dental patients.
