A 4-mm implant was placed in the central anterior palate and allowed to heal for 3 months. During the complete treatment period, a denture with reduced extension can be delivered on a fixed Locator abutment. This method was successfully applied in three patients, and the palatal implant remained stable until the final removable prosthesis could be delivered.
