"Digital technologies have long since found their way into the dental practice and dental laboratory workplace. A look at the last International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne in 2019 made this abundantly clear. The term 'digital workflow' is easy to say, but there is often a lack of well-founded background information. This is where this new publication, edited by Att, Witkowski, and Strub, comes in. Many parts of the book contain references to video clips for additional information. There are also many summaries of products currently on the market in the individual subject areas, which establish concrete links for practical applications. The wide range of images and graphics are instructive and serve to illustrate the learning material in a very helpful way. This author can highly recommend this book to anyone who would like to discover the current and future potential of digital technologies in reconstructive dentistry and who would like to gain more knowledge and insight into this rapidly developing and changing field."
