Pages 181, Language: GermanÜner, O. / Haydar, S.Two patients are demonstrated showing distal movement with Jones Jig appliance. This aplliance delivers 0.7 to 0.75 N (70 to 75 gr.) of force against molars. As an anchorage unit a modified Nance appliance is fabricated with bands on the second bicuspids or second deciduous molars. The movement of molar teeth in three dimensions is measured and very little side effects are observed due to the noticable amount of distal movement of the molars.
