Due to this increasing interest in esthetics, as well as concerns about toxic and allergic reactions, the use of all-ceramic restorations has increased. One of the systems introduced for all-ceramic restorations is the IPS Empress system. This article examines one all-ceramic restoration system, IPS Empress, and presents patient cases in which all-ceramic crowns and fixed partial dentures have been utilized.
