Giuseppe Scuzzo

Si è laureato in medicina nel 1983 (Università La Sapienza, Roma) e specializzato
in odontoiatria nel 1987 (Università La Sapienza, Roma) e ortodonzia all’Università di Ferrara.
Ha sempre esercitato esclusivamente l’ortognatodonzia, con particolare interesse verso la tecnica
linguale fin dal 1983.
Autore di numerose pubblicazioni, il Dr. Scuzzo ha relazionato estensivamente in Italia e
all’estero riguardo la tecnica linguale.
Collabora (come insegnante) con le maggiori università europee ed è professore di tecnica linguale
all’Università degli Studi di Ferrara e Università Complutense di Madrid. È inoltre direttore del Master
in Lingual Orthodontics all’Università di Ferrara e all’Università Complutense di Madrid.
Insieme al Dott. Takemoto ha tenuto conferenze e corsi in tutto il mondo.
Il Dott. Scuzzo svolge attività professionale a Roma, dedicandosi esclusivamente all’ortodonzia linguale.
Presidente della World Society of Lingual Orthodontics (WSLO) e del World Board of Lingual
Orthodontics (WBLO).
Ha ideato e sviluppato con il Dr. Takemoto il bracket linguale STb e il sistema “Lingual Straight
Wire”.
Certificato EBO (con tutti casi linguali) e WBLO. Fellow member del Royal College of Surgeons
di Edimburgo (Scozia).

Pratica in maniera esclusiva l’ortodonzia linguale a Tokyo. Ha tenuto corsi
inerenti questa specialità a più 4000 odontoiatri in tutto il mondo e conduce periodicamente nel
proprio studio corsi pratici in lingua inglese.
Collabora (come insegnante) con le maggiori Università europee. È professore nella tecnica linguale
presso l’Università degli Studi di Ferrara e Adjunct Professor alla New York University.
È stato autore di oltre 30 articoli in ortodonzia linguale e co-autore di Invisible Orthodontics (libro
tradotto in cinque lingue) e Lingual Orthodontics con Giuseppe Scuzzo.
Ha ideato e sviluppato con il Dr. Scuzzo il bracket linguale STb.
È stato presidente del primo congresso di ortodonzia linguale della WSLO.
Certificato EBO (con tutti casi linguali) e WBLO. Fellow member del Royal College of Surgeons di
Edimburgo (Scozia).
