Before becoming a dentist, he completed his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, then attended New York University College of Dentistry. While he has been in practice for over three decades, he truly enjoys his work and believes in the power of continuing education at every level. Dr. Lamberg has served as an associate clinical professor at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine and has served as Chief of Staff at the Jewish Home and Hospital in New York City. A strong interest in cosmetic dentistry led him to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and he served as the president of the New York Chapter in 1998. After completing all the courses at the Dawson Academy he studied at the Misch Institute and then went on to complete the curriculum and become a graduate of the Kois Center. He is currently a Scientific Advisor for the Kois Center and regularly attends meetings and most recently spoke at their 2018 symposium in Seattle. Dr. Steven Lamberg invented the Lamberg SleepWell Oral Appliance and holds several related patents. He is on the editorial review board of Dental Sleep Practice and has contributed many articles to help dentists launch dental sleep medicine as an integral part of their general practice. Additionally, he holds seminars for other dentists and providers to offer a comprehensive curriculum on dental sleep medicine under his Lamberg Seminars brand. Always passionate about sleep and total body wellness, the Lamberg Seminars brand was started after he became a Diplomate in the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine in 2011 and he has served as a faculty member for their board review courses ever since becoming a member. Dr. Lamberg currently lectures nationally as well as internationally on topics related to dental sleep medicine and wellness and has published both adult and pediatric sleep screening questionnaires. He is currently involved with research evaluating sleep disordered breathing and autism. Dr. Lamberg has also launched a pediatric and adult airway network of Long Island, aka PAANNY, where dentists and physicians collaborate on treating patients in an effort to prevent obstructive sleep apnea in adults.
Dr. France Lambert graduated from the University of Liege in Periodontology, where she continued to obtain a PhD in the same subject. She has also completed a fellowship program in oral implantology at the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine as well as the University of Washington. She is currently Head of Clinic in the Periodontology and Oral Surgery Departement at the University of Liege. Her clinical work is focused exclusively on implantology, mucogingival surgery and periodontics. Her scientific research areas target different aspects of the use of biomaterial and dental implants.
Panagiotis Lampropoulos was born in Athens in 1977. He finished school at the German School of Athens (1995) and enrolled at Dental School Albert-Ludwig University in Freiburg, Germany, after taking the state exam (Abitur). In 2000 he began the preparation of his doctoral thesis at the Prosthodontics department and in 2003 he received his Doctorate of Dental Faculty from the University of Freiburg (Dr. Med. Dent) as a postgraduate student. Furthermore in 2001 he attended a postgraduate program in Applied Management in Dentistry. In 2004 he returned to Greece and fulfilled his military service as a dentist. From 2005 to 2013 he worked as a research associate and from 2019 he is clinical instructor in the postgraduate program in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at the School of Dentistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Dr. Panagiotis Lampropoulos has graduated the EAO’s Master diploma in implant dentistry (Class 2017). He maintains a private practice in Athens since 2005 limited to prosthetic dentistry and dental implants. He has trained dentists in implant prosthetics and he is an international trainer for MIS, Dentsply. He is a member and a registered speaker of the ITI (International Team of Implantology), member of EAO (European Association of Osseointegration), the European Prosthodontic Association (EPA) and the Digital Dentistry Society (DDS) and an active member of Hellenic Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He is member of the board of Stomatological Society of Greece and of the Greek Prosthodontic Society. Panagiotis Lampropoulos is an international speaker and has made numerous presentations in multiple conferences about guided implantology and digital dentistry.
Professor Niklaus P. Lang is the author of more than 730 publications. He holds four honorary doctorates and honorary membership of 20 national and international associations. In 1968, he was awarded the Swiss Dental Association’s renowned Prix Louis Metzger, and in 1992, he received the IADR’s Basic Science in Periodontal Disease Award. He is a past president of the ITI and the Swiss Society for Periodontology (SSP) and was Editor-in-Chief of the journal Clinical Oral Implants Research until 2016. He is active in clinical research related to implant dentistry, periodontology, etiology and pathogenesis of peri-implant infections, risk evaluation, wound healing, and oral microbiology. From 2008 to 2012, he built up the curriculum in implant dentistry at the University of Hong Kong after having headed the Department of Periodontology and Fixed Prosthodontics at the University of Bern, Switzerland from 1978 to 2008.
Burton Langer, DMD, MScD, was one of the first periodontists trained in osseointegration by Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark. He has lectured extensively throughout the world and has written over 50 articles and chapters for ten textbooks. He is the recipient of the 1992 Isador Hirschfeld Award for Clinical Excellence, the 1997 American Academy of Periodontology Master Clinician Award, and the 2015 Robert Eskow New York University College of Dentistry/Implant Dentistry Award. Dr Langer was named an honorary member of the American College of Prosthodontists in 2016.
Dr. Lanis graduated from the University of Valparaiso, Chile in 2008 and completed a three-year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology at the University of Chile in Santiago. Additionally, he has an advanced diploma in Marketing and Health Administration from University of Chile School of Business and an advanced certification in Medical Education from Catholic University of Chile School of Medicine. In 2013, he moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan to participate as an Implant Scholar in the Periodontics and Oral Medicine Department at University of Michigan School of Dentistry. During his career he has been specially dedicated to the practice of advanced prosthodontics, oral implantology and digital dentistry. Dr. Lanis is a recognized international lecturer in digital dentistry, oral implantology, esthetics and prosthodontics. He is fellow of the International Team for Implantology where he serves in the Global Education Committee and member of the European Association for Osseointegration, the International College of Prosthodontics and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has published several scientific articles in specialized journals and books and has collaborated as a scientific advisor with different dental implant companies worldwide.
Born in 1960 in Bordeaux, Jean-François Lasserre, PhD., DDS, graduated from the University of Bordeaux 2 in 1983. Following his DEA in anthropology, in 1994 he became an associate professor in the Prosthetic department of the Dental faculty of the University of Bordeaux. In 2003 he defended his University Doctoral Thesis on the topic of dental wear in modern and historical population, developing and introducing a chewing simulator device to study the in vitro wear of novel ceramic and composite dental materials. For more than 15 years, he has been teaching Occlusion, to later dedicate himself to research and teaching of dental esthetics and ceramic restorations. He has authored numerous articles in national and international journals and has frequently presented lectures in France and abroad, dedicated to esthetic ceramic restorations. Jean-François Lasserre practices at the University Dental Hospital Center but also owns a private clinic in Bordeaux specializing in dental esthetics, implantology, and prosthetics. He is a founder of the research and educational group for dental esthetics named “Symbiose.” For many years Jean-François Lasserre has been a Vice Dean of the Dental Faculty, in charge of the international relations, and has been granted the Honoris Causa as well as the title of Associate Professor by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMP) in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. He is also Associate Professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Luliu Hatieganu” in Cluj-Napoca in Romania.
