Dear Friends,

We are just one year away from a truly special event: the SEPES Annual Congress, which will take place in Bilbao from October 9 to 11, 2025, under the theme "The Interdisciplinary Challenge." During the Congress, we will dive into the complexities and synergies among the different disciplines of our profession, all of which are essential for success in Dental Prosthetics and Oral Rehabilitation.

Interdisciplinarity in dental clinics is key to offering comprehensive and quality care to our patients. Collaboration across specialties not only improves clinical outcomes but also enriches continuous learning and fosters adaptation to new technologies and procedures. The industry plays an essential role in this process, providing tools, materials, and technological advancements that allow our specialized teams to perform their work efficiently and effectively.

This Congress holds a very special meaning for us, as the organizers are father and son, both specialists in Prosthetics, working every day in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary setting, and we have come together to take on this great challenge. From our different generational perspectives, we will bring the best of both worlds: tradition and innovation, providing a unique platform to discuss the most cutting-edge approaches from various dental specialties.

The Congress will be held at the iconic Euskalduna Palace. It will be three days of intense presentations and workshops led by over 80 experts, a large exhibition area, an unforgettable Closing Dinner at the Guggenheim Museum, and a social program highlighted by local gastronomic and wine excellence—more than enough reasons to mark these dates in your calendar.

Bilbao, with its perfect blend of tradition and modernity, is the ideal setting for this gathering. Its transformation over recent decades has made it one of Europe’s most dynamic cities, where avant-garde architecture, like that of the Guggenheim and La Alhóndiga, coexists with historic neighborhoods like the Old Town, natural beauty in Getxo, and passion at San Mamés Stadium. Additionally, Bilbao’s vibrant gastronomic scene, internationally recognized with six Michelin-starred restaurants, will make your stay an unforgettable experience, both inside and outside the congress.

Your presence is essential so that together, we can face future challenges and continue advancing in the exciting field of dentistry.

We are thrilled to welcome SEPES back to Bilbao, a warm, vibrant city full of treasures waiting to be discovered. Nearly a decade after the last meeting held here, we are confident that this edition will also be memorable.

We want to extend special thanks to the SEPES Board of Directors for their unwavering support in bringing this remarkable program to life.

See you at SEPES BILBAO 2025!
Jaime A. Gil Lozano, Congress President
Alfonso Gil López-Areal, Scientific Committee President
