Prof. Hernández-Alfaro studied medicine and dentistry and specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Barcelona, Spain. He obtained his PhD at International University of Catalonia , and is Diplomate by the European Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is currently Chief of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Teknon Medical Center, the largest private facility in Spain. Rahaf Y. Alhabbab, BDS, MsD, DABOMS, is currently an oral and maxillofacial surgery consultant at King Fahad Hospital General in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She is the founder and head of the orthognathic surgery unit there as well as the residency program director of the Saudi boards. She received her advanced oral and maxillofacial training at McGill University in Montreal after finishing her education at King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia, the University of Connecticut, and New York University. In the United States, she is board-certified in OMFS and three subspecialties (cosmetics, orthognathics, and facial trauma reconstruction). In addition to her academic affiliations, Dr Alhabbab is currently the chairman of the Saudi Board Western Region, the head of the Western Region Examination Committee, and the head of the scientific program of the Saudi Board Western Region in the Saudi Commission of Health Specialty.

Edward P. Allen, DDS, PhD has served as president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, and the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. He is the recipient of the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology, the President’s Award for Excellence in Dental Education from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the Saul Schluger Award for Excellence in Diagnosis and Treatment Planning. In 2019, he was honored with the AAP Gold Medal Award, the highest award bestowed by the Academy. Currently, he serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, the Journal of Periodontology, and the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Dr Allen is founder of the Center for Advanced Dental Education in Dallas, an educational facility where he teaches surgical technique courses. Dr. Pokpong Amornvit is a Thai dentist and dental educator who specializes in digital dentistry. Dr. Amornvit graduated with a DDS from Mahidol University, Thailand, and an MS in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from the same university. He also completed a Certificate in Implant Dentistry from UCLA and received a PhD in Oral Health Science from Prince of Songkla University. His thesis was focused on digital dentistry. He is well-known for his work in the field, particularly in the areas of digital dentistry, digital implants, digital clear aligners, and digital restorative esthetics. His signature approach involves facial-driven design in a multidisciplinary treatment.
Dr. Amornvit has been actively involved in teaching and training dental professionals in the use of digital technology to enhance the quality of dental care and patient experience. He is the developer of “PPFACEDESIGN,” which uses a digital workflow with a philosophy of digital facial-driven design and digital smile design. This concept emphasizes the importance of facial profile, proportions, harmony, and esthetic oral rehabilitation, using digital smile design to create an aesthetically pleasing face. He developed PPFACEBOW, a digital facebow used in treatment.

Evanthia Anadioti, DDS, MS, FACP, is associate professor of clinical restorative dentistry in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and founding director of the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a board director at the American College of Prosthodontists Education Foundation, and the incoming prosthodontic commissioner at the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Dr Anadioti has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has received both local and national awards.
Dr Angelopoulos is a graduate of the Aristotle University, School of Dentistry, Thessaloniki, Greece. His post-doctoral training includes a 3yr internship in Oral Surgery (Aristotle University, 1997) and a 1yr GPR program (Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, 1999). In addition, he has completed a 3yr Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency program at University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry (2001) and he was awarded the MS degree in Oral Biology (2002). He has completed has PhD degree in 2009. His degree was the result of a collaborative effort between Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr Angelopoulos is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists. He has held academic appointments at University of Missouri-Kansas City (assistant professor 2002-2007) and a t Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine (associate professor and director of the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, 2007-2011). He is currently serving as maxillofacial radiology consultant at the Bronx Hospital of Veterans Affairs. Dr Angelopoulos is the Executive Director of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and has served in the Executive Council of this organization for more than 7 yrs. He is the Associate Editor of Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology (OOOO). He has published more than 30 scientific papers and has spoken in several conventions and CE courses, nationally as well as internationally, on a variety of radiology topics. His main research interests include diagnostic ultrasound, cone beam computed tomography, implant imaging etc. Dr Angelopoulos is licensed in the states of Missouri and New York. He also holds a dental license in Thessaloniki, Greece. He maintains a private practice dedicated to oral and maxillofacial image interpretation and consultation services.
Dr Carlos Aparicio received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Navarra in 1978, completed his postgraduate studies in dentistry at the Univeristy of Barcelona, and became a dental laboratory technician in 1983 at the Ramon y Cajal School in Barcelona. He received his Diploma in Implant Dentistry in 1984 from the University of Gothenburg (with Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark as tutor) and was awarded a Master of Materials Science from the University of Barcelona in 1990 before receiving his Diploma in Periodontics from the University of Gothenburg in 1995. He was awarded a master’s in biomedical research from the University of Barcelona in 2010, and became a Ph.D. in medicine (summa cum laude with international mention) in 2013. Dr Aparicio has written numerous articles for international journals. In 2012, he edited the book Zygomatic Implants: The Anatomy–Guided Approach (ZAGA). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in England and became an Academic at The Royal European Academy of Doctors in 2016. He is former president of the Osseointegration Foundation of the American Academy of Osseontigration. He received the Fonseca Award from the Spanish Society of Periodontics three times and was awarded the Simo Virgili Prize by the Catalonian Society of Ondonto-Stomatology twice. Today, Dr Aparicio is an International Teaching Scholar at Indiana University School of Dentistry and is honorary president of the Spanish Society of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, which he founded. His latest endeavor is founding the Zygoma ZAGA Centers Network in 2018 with the goal of spreading the ZAGA philosophy globally. Currently, he is sharing his knowledge as a senior consultant in zygomatic implants at Hepler Bone Clinic in Barcelona, Spain.
Dr Araújo is a Periodontist working both in private practice Rio de Janeiro and at the State University of Maringa, Parana, Brazil. He completed his PhD at The University of Gothenburg, Sweden in 1998. He is the Chairman of the Perio/Implant Research Unit, State University of Maringá. He has together with his co-workers published groundbreaking research in the fields of ridge alterations following tooth extraction, ridge preservation, bone formation in extraction sockets and immediate implant placement. He is an ITI Fellow, a former ITI Chairman in Brazil and Osteology Foundation Board member. He is member of the editorial board of several journals.
