Stephen graduated BDS (Malaya) in 1983, MDSc (Melbourne) in 1987 and completed a PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2008. He was awarded Fellowship by examination of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS) in 1988 (KG Sutherland Prize). He holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor at The School of Dentistry, The University of Melbourne. Stephen’s clinical and scientific interests are in the field of periodontal tissue regeneration, bone grafting and dental implants. He has published over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, authored 2 textbooks and contributed chapters to 6 textbooks. Stephen is president-elect of the ITI (International Team for Implantology), an international not-for-profit academic organization in the field of dental implantology with over 15,000 members worldwide in over 100 countries. He has served as chairman of the ITI Education Committee and is currently a member of the ITI Board of Directors. In Australia, he has contributed significantly to local academic and professional associations, having previously served as chairman of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP), Australasian Osseointegration Society (AOS) and Australian Society of Periodontology (ASP). He was awarded honorary life membership of the Australasian Osseointegration Society (AOS) for services to the organization.
Dr. German Gallucci received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (Dr. Med. Dent.) from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He attended a postdoctoral training at the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and Occlusion, School of Dental Medicine, University of Geneva where he later became a full-time faculty at the same department. Dr Gallucci also received a Ph.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam. In 2007, he established a new Postgraduate Education Program in Oral Implantology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is currently department chair of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences, and also oversees the Harvard Dental Center as its executive director. Dr. Gallucci participates in lectures, seminars, practical courses and table clinics at national and international meetings and symposia. He has authored scientific publications in the field of Fixed Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry and his work has been mostly published in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Gallucci serves as an editorial board member for Journal of Dental Research (JDR), Clinical Oral Implants Research (COIR), and International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants (IJOMI). He is a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Switzerland, an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration and the European Academy of Osseointegration.
Luiz H. Gonzaga, DDS, MS, graduated from the Catholic University of Brasilia College of Dentistry in 2004. Doctor Gonzaga was awarded the ITI scholarship in 2009 and completed his Implant fellowship the following year. In 2011 he was accepted and completed a residency program and a master's in Prosthodontics from the University of Florida in 2014. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Florida Center for Implant Dentistry. Dr. Gonzaga is an ITI speaker and Fellow of the International Team for Implantology, a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, and the Academy of Osseointegration. Past communications officer for the USA section of the ITI and former President of the Florida Prosthodontic Association. Doctor Gonzaga lectures nationally and internationally on implant dentistry, has published in peer-reviewed journals, and has collaborations with U Michigan, U Kentucky, Tufts, and the University of Sao Paulo. Most of all, doctor Gonzaga is a clinician and practices at the Center for Implant dentistry five days a week, treating complex patients with surgical or prosthetic needs that involve dental implants.
Adam Hamilton BDSc, DCD, FRACDS is the Discipline lead in Prosthodontics at the University of Western Australia. He is the former director of the Division of Regenerative Sciences and Implant Dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he is still a lecturer for the advanced graduate implant dentistry program. Adam completed his general dental education at the University of Western Australia and has a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry in the specialty of Prosthodontics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He was the recipient of an ITI scholarship through which he completed a Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Florida’s Centre for Implant Dentistry. His research focuses are on implant placement and loading protocols, the impact of digital technology in prosthodontics and implant dentistry, as well as digital workflows for implant rehabilitation of the edentulous patient. He maintains a clinical practice focusing on prosthodontic and surgical implant treatment.
Emma Lewis is a dual qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who currently holds a consultant position at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Western Australia. Emma obtained her BDS at the University of Edinburgh and MBBS at University of Western Australia. She completed her FRACDS(OMS) in 2002 after training in Adelaide and Perth. She has spent 11 years in Florida, USA where she became an Associate Professor at the University of Florida and Residency Director in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Centre for Implant Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an ITI Fellow. She was a contributor for the ITI Consensus Conference in 2008 and is a member of Perth Central Study Club. Emma is currently the Director of Training for OMS trainees in Western Australia and is Chair of the Board of Studies OMS for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Charlotte Stilwell is a specialist prosthodontist in private practice in Harley Street, London. She trained at the Royal Dental College in Copenhagen, Denmark followed by post-graduate training and part-time lecturer post at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Charlotte Stilwell is currently global president of the ITI International Team for Implantology, senior lecturer at University Clinic of Dentistry, Geneva and an examiner for the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
