Dr Domingo Martin holds a BA from the University of Southern California, an MD and DDS from the University of Bilbao and an MS in Orthodontics from the University of Valencia. He has a Diploma For Functional Occlusion – Roth Williams Center (1991-1993) San Francisco, California and a Diploma Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry (2004-2006) Portland, Oregon. Dr. Martin was awarded the Juan Carol Prize for Best First Presentation at the Spanish Society of Orthodontics (SEDO) in 1991 and the Juan Canut Prize for Best Clinical Case in 2019. He was President of the S.E.D.O. Meeting (Spanish Society of Orthodontics) in 2000 and is an Active Member of the Angle Society of Europe and held the role of President from 2014 to 2016. He has been a Diplomate of the European Society of Orthodontics (EBO) since 2008 and a Member and Diplomate of the European Aligner Society (EAS) since 2025.

Dr. Martin is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Barcelona, Spain and University Complutense of Madrid, Spain. He is the creator of the FACE Aligner System, and has lectured in more than 75 countries worldwide.

Well known as an educator, researcher, and innovative surgeon, Dr Marx is professor of surgery and chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. As a researcher, he has made valuable contributions in the use of hyperbaric oxygen following radiation therapy, in the development of platelet-rich plasma, and in elucidating the relationships between smoking and carcinogenesis. He also pioneered the clinical applications of recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein and stem cell use and was the first to identify what is now known worldwide as bisphosphonate-induced osteonecrosis of the jaws. He has also developed new concepts and treatments for pathologies within OMS as well as new techniques in reconstructive surgery.

Mason, DDS, MS, received his DDS and MS from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1981 and 1984, respectively, and has since managed a private practice specializing in periodontics and dental implants. Since 1991, he has placed over 5,000 dental implants. Dr Mason teaches periodontal residents as a member of the Dean’s Faculty in the Graduate Periodontics Clinic at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and regularly demonstrates surgery to the dental hygiene students at Delta College. Dr Mason has presented lectures to numerous dental societies throughout Michigan and has published articles in several professional journals. He has also developed three dental instruments and patented one of these—the Palatal Anesthesia Device (PAD)—to help alleviate the pain of palatal injections. Scott McClanahan, DDS, MS, earned his DDS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1981 and served in the United States Navy for 25 years. During his time in the Navy, he worked as a general dentist for 6 years before pursuing advanced training in endodontics from the Northwestern University School of Dentistry. Dr McClanahan joined the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2005, serving as the Director of the Division of Endodontics and the Director of the Graduate Program in Endodontics. Since retiring from academia in 2020, he continues to offer guest lectures and work with the University of Minnesota Division of Endodontics as well as the US Navy’s endodontics program in Bethesda, Maryland. He lives in Virginia with his wife and three dogs.
