Carole Boyle—Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecture at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, King's College London Dental Institute. Carole has extensive clinical experience treating special care patients using both conscious sedation and general anaesthesia and in teaching special care dentistry, including sedation.

Dr. Fabienne Bradfisch is a specialist in Dermatology and Venereology and works at Rosenpark Clinic in Darmstadt in the field of esthetic Dermatology and Dermatosurgery.

Dr. Brecht is currently the Director of Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Lenox Hill Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital of the Northwell Health System, the largest hospital system in New York State. In addition, he serves as the Director of Maxillofacial Prosthetics in the Postgraduate Prosthodontic Program of NYU College of Dentistry where he is an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor of Prosthodontics. Dr. Brecht also has the privilege of an appointment in the Department of Head & Neck Surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center of The University of Texas. Prior to its dissolution in 2015, for over 25 years, Dr. Brecht was the Director of Dental Services at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center with appointments at NYU School of Medicine in the Department of Plastic Surgery and the Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Brecht maintains a private practice in Manhattan limited to maxillofacial prosthetics and prosthodontics He has authored numerous articles and book chapters on the maxillofacial reconstruction and oral rehabilitation of patients with cancer or craniofacial anomalies. He is part of the team that developed the ”Jaw-in-a-Day” (JIAD) technique for immediate reconstruction of the maxilla or mandible with microvascular composite flaps along with immediate implants and prosthetic rehabilitation. Similarly, he was part of the team that developed nasoalveolar molding (NAM) for the care of infants with a cleft. He is a past-president of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics (AAMP). In addition, Dr. Brecht has received numerous awards, including the Andrew J. Ackerman Award from the AAMP for outstanding contributions to the field of maxillofacial prosthetics. He is also one of the authors of the textbook, “The Immediacy Concept” published in 2022 by Quintessence. He lectures regularly both nationally and internationally on the topics of immediate reconstruction throughout the oral cavity and maxillofacial region. Dr. Brecht serves as the president of The Maxillofacial Foundation as well as the NextGenFace Foundation.

Caroline Brydson, BSc, obtained her bachelor's degree in nutrition from Ryerson University. Together with Dr. Dorothy Faulkner, RD, she has worked on recipe development and testing of Portfolio diet recipes. The result of this work was a booklet of recipes used in the original Portfolio diet study where research patients involved in the study were given her booklet as a guide. Since then she has been working in elderly care as a dietary and lifestyle consultant.

Dr. Wolfram Bücking begann seine Karriere als Zahnarzt an der Universität Erlangen und zählt heute zu den bekanntesten und erfahrensten Zahnärzten Deutschlands. Als Autor von „Die Dentale Trickkiste“ und „Neues aus der dentalen Trickkiste“ ist Dr. Bücking nicht nur unter seinen Kollegen, sondern auch unter Studierenden der Zahnmedizin bekannt. Seine Bestseller sind mittlerweile in acht verschiedenen Sprachen erhältlich. Dr. Bücking begeistert sich vor Allem für funktionelle Ästhetik. Er ist Mitglied diverser Fachgesellschaften wie der DGZMK, DGP und AAP, ist nicht nur europaweit ein gefragter Referent, sondern auch in den USA, Mexiko, Ägypten, China und Indien ein gern gesehener Dozent. Charles J. Burstone, DDS, MS (1928 - 2015), was a pioneer in his field, introducing biomechanical concepts to clinical orthodontics by formulating the segmented arch technique. He was responsible of developing robust orthodontics departments at Indiana University and later at the University of Connecticut, which both became internationally known for their research and for the quality of their graduates, many of whom went on to become outstanding clinicians and teachers throughout the world. Always an innovator, Dr Burstone was an early developer of interactive computer programs for diagnosis and treatment planning, a codeveloper of new wires using titanium-molybdenum alloy (TMA) and Chinese nickel titanium (NiTi) alloy, and the lead researcher in the development of long-fiber-reinforced composites in appliance design. He held various patents related to his work. As an active member of numerous dental societies and organizations, Dr Burstone was the recipient of many distinguished awards and honors. He published many books and chapters as well more than 200 articles in refereed journals. Dr Burstone was professor emeritus of the Division of Orthodontics at the University of Connecticut, where he donated much of his time and energy until his passing in February 2015.
 

Daniel Buser, DDS, Prof em Dr med dent, is one of the most experienced international implant surgeons, with 35 years of surgical experience. He is past professor and chairman in the Department of Oral Surgery at the University of Bern in Switzerland and past president of the European Association for Osseointegration, the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology, the Swiss Society of Oral Surgery and Stomatology, and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the ITI Honorary Fellowship and the Morton Amsterdam Award. He has authored and coauthored over 400 publications and is editor of 30 Years of Guided Bone Regeneration (Quintessence, 2021), which was recently published in its third edition. Dr Buser is cofounder of the Buser & Sculean Academy, which offers continuing education courses in periodontology and implant dentistry, and lectures nationally and internationally.
